Learn valuable skills that will put you steps ahead of the competition and get your career started. In this course, you’ll discover how the industry operates and create a professional image that will help you audition with confidence and perform your best. Students are encouraged to evaluate their personal goals and objectives to determine whether they are suited for a career in modeling or fashion. Parents are invited to participate in a seminar to learn more about the industry and to prepare them for possible next steps.
Students enrolled in this course are eligible for placement with our agency for promotion to local and international clients. Students that have completed this course have gone on to exciting careers in modeling, fashion design, event management and fashion communication.
Emphasis will be placed on the following core areas: model portfolio, composite cards and headshots, resume, presentations skills, wardrobe and styling, runway techniques, make-up, mannequin and informal modeling, industry terminology, modeling tools, auditions/go-sees, professional responsibilities, agency representation and model contracts.
