This course will help build self-esteem, a positive attitude or provide an introduction to the modeling industry. With a focus on image development, we offer practical instruction in skin care, make-up, and basic modeling and presentation skills.

Key topics covered will help students gain confidence and composure to handle life’s challenges. At the end of the course, students will participate in an in-house fashion show to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they’ve learned.

Emphasis will be placed on the following core areas: skin care, manicure, pedicure, hair care and styling, make-up techniques and colour analysis, social awareness, posture, walking, model stance, runway turns and basic fashion show procedures.

This course is the prerequisite for the M204: Runway, M304: Cover Style and M404: Top Model courses.
