It’s all about style! This course focuses on creating a style that reflects your personality. We start by determining the best colours and tones to suit your skin and hair colour. Next we look for ways to enhance your current wardrobe and determine what trends work for you and your body type. Then you’ll learn how to look better on camera by mastering the fundamentals of facial expression, photo movement and posing techniques.
To conclude the course, students will have a practice photo shoot to build the confidence needed to work with a top photographer. After the test shoot, you’ll have the opportunity – at an extra cost – to shoot with a top fashion photographer. For aspiring models, this is the beginning of their portfolio.
Emphasis will be placed on the following core areas: body alignment, image and personal style, fashion accessories, photo movement, make-up for colour and black/white photography, portraying mood and attitude, understanding popular looks and how to achieve them, posing techniques, photo shoot preparation, working with photographers and the model portfolio.
This course is the prerequisite for the M404: Top Model course.
